Adventure To Cu Chi Tunnels In Half Day

During the late 1940s, communist forces began digging a network of tunnels under the jungle terrain of South Vietnam, during their war of independence from French colonial authority. At that time, tunnels were often dug by hand, only a short distance at a time and is used only for the personal purpose of the local such as hidding and store foods. As the United States increasingly escalated its military presence in Vietnam in support of a non-Communist regime in South Vietnam beginning in the early 1960s, North Vietnamese and Viet Cong troops (as Communist supporters in South Vietnam were known) gradually expanded the tunnels. At its peak during the Vietnam War, the network of tunnels in the Cu Chi district linked VC support bases over a distance of some 250 kilometers, from the outskirts of Saigon all the way to the Cambodian border.
During the American War in Southern of Vietnam, the Cu Chi Tunnels has turned into a dead trap for America soldiers with lots of bobby traps, and landmines along with its complex tunnels system that's allow the VC and Cu Chi Fighters to fight upper handedly with maximize mobility in order to cause fear into enemies' heart with a famous saying: "Viet Cong is seen no where but they are everywhere"
Nowadays, part of the tunnels system is opened for tourist to go, explore and admire its out-of-mind tunnels system. So many stories to be told and things to see and feel, a tour to Cu Chi Tunnels will sure be one of the activities that you should not be missed when going to Ho Chi Minh City. See you there!

Excellent experience
It was an experience, that you will never forget, how it would have been during the war, with no light, food and much air and space. If you are able it is definitely worth going in the tunnel. It is not very long and a little bit of light and air. We will come back Cu Chi Tunnels again

Great time with the Halong bay & Bai Tu Long bay
Hello Hung ! A big hello from the us. We are checked into Queen hotel and also have been given free access to the internet for 1 night! Thank you for getting a wonderful trip - we had a lot of fun with the Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay cruise, as well since the memorable "picnic" on the actual private beach with white We will have some more days to explore this particular exotic city you known as home, and will be bringing back around many fond of reminiscences Take care Sow Fung & Laurence.

Hello Giang What a nice surprise to know from you. Here in little Denmark we're approching the authum and also the weather is not such as in Vietnam: -( the sun i shinning however the tempeture is only 5 C so it's the beginning to obtain colder.As you know the two of us started on our brand new jobs on September 17 and sofar it's been a very good but additionally very busy period for that both of us. We really enjoyed our vacation in Vietnam and much because of your effort in telling all of us about Vietnam and bringing us nearer to the local Vietnam lifestyle. I promised you an image of our house as well as I enclosed one within this mail. Next week we are experiencing some very good buddies visiting us and by then I must finalize the "video" of all of the about 1100 pictues that people took during our journey. Wonderful time in Hanoi and Halong Bay

Good time in Vietnam
